DISCOVERY TRAINING COURSE | 1 day | 1 900 000 Rp

This full-day is designed to impart the basics of this incredible sport, to enjoy the mountain activities safely and to make you aware of the future professional goals.

Objectives of this course:

  1. Canyoning discovery as sportive, cultural, federal and professional activity.
  2. To be autonomous when proceeding into the canyon, in any circumstances (obstacles, and/or equipment) without any particular difficulties or risks due to water level variations (swift water, sump, undercut, stopper).

Content of this course:

  1. On rough terrain (Moving easily and dynamically in different canyon types, in a secure way, watching carefully the group: blocks, slipping ground,climbing up or down)
  2. In to water (Easy swimming in calm water with equipment; water slides and jumps techniques)
  3. Vertical descents (Utilizing a descender and unclipping, climbing down easily maintaining good position all along the descent, static position on the rope
  4. Traverse lines (Passing traverse line equipment safely)
  5. Rope setting (Knowing her/his personal equipment, packing the single-rope bag, retrieving the rope correctly, double anchor belay
  6. Belaying (Belay systems from below)
  7. Communications (Visual and sound signals)
  8. Behaviour (Awareness of canyoning environmental impact and adapt one’s behaviour accordingly, respect for the other canyoning participants and the residents)
  9. Practice knowledge (Necessity of eating, drinking and self-temperature control)

AUTONOMY CANYON TRAINING COURSE | 6 days | 9 500 000 Rp

Equivalent to SFP1 standards of FFS and EFC. This 6-day course has both theoretical and practical content. You will learn basic rope systems, self rescue and group rescue techniques. We will take a detailed look at environmental considerations (weather, hydrology, environmental protection) and group management. This course is designed to provide you with the basic skills and techniques which unable them to become autonomous and ready to achieve pre-requisites of any State-certified training in their country.

Objectives of this course:

  1. To be autonomous when proceeding into the canyon, in any circumstances (obstacles, and/or equipment) without any particular difficulties or risks due to water level variations (swift water, sump, undercut, stopper).
  2. To set rope systems for rappelling down vertical descents with low water flow in safety conditions as follows: (30 metres maximum; one single section or two section drops with stable and secure stages; no difficulties or risks due to water levels)
  3. To be the leader during an intensive outdoor tour in canyon
  4. To organise and supervise a tour.
  5. Candidates should attend this course to achieve Assistant Guide prerequisites.
